Pre-Med Program
Starting June 2012, IUHS will offer a Pre-Med Program that will allow any applicant, upon successful completion, to enter the MD Program.
The IUHS Premedical program offers all the courses needed for eligibility to enter medical school as well as courses to allow a student to complete a Bachelor’s of Science in Medical Scienes, BSc(Med). These are offered in a modular system that accommodates the needs of all applicants whether they need a single course to complete their entrance requirements or a full undergraduate BSc degree.
Courses offered include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Physiology, Mathematics/Statistics, Psychology, Embryology and English/Composition as well as the opportunity to do an undergraduate thesis project.
